‘Students, Sex and Shame’: a short film by Warwick University Students

Directed by Dorothy Allen-Pickard, ‘Students, Sex and Shame’ is “a documentary about attitudes towards consent and sexual abuse. Questions are raised on the implication of the word ‘slut’, the influence of alcohol and drugs on sexual relations, differences in attitudes towards men and women’s behaviour and more.” With each opinion, statistic, and survivor story shared, the film invites self-examination and careful consideration. How do attitudes toward sexual relationships influence sexual abuse, either positively or negatively?
