“Dealing With…”: Resources and Advice for Student Activists

The “Dealing With…”  advice serious comes from survivors and activists of Know Your IX: Empowering Students to Stop Sexual Violence.

Sexual violence is a series problem on college and university campuses around the world. Most universities – including many highly prestigious schools – have failed desperately in their responsibilities to investigate reports, protect survivors and punish offenders. Countless student activists are working hard to reverse this trend. Know Your IX (linked above) provides articles on topics related to activism as a young adult. Topics include dealing with burn-out and self-care, dealing with unsupportive parents and peers, dealing with school retaliation, dealing with homophobia as a survivor, dealing with building a support network, dealing with feeling exposed etc.
